We have moulding to suits everyones' taste. From Black to White, Gold and Silver, many shades of Brown, Red, Blue and many more.
Following are some information how you can frame your items.
Moulding Only; which is suitable for stretched Canvas. Don't worry if your canvas is not stretched. We can stretch it for you.
Moulding and mounts; which is the standard frame for paintings and photos. You can choose to frame without the mount board but in case of shiny photos we recommend to frame with the mount board so that the shiny surface of the photo does not stick to the glass which looks like there is a water damage on the photo. And eventually the photo will be damaged and can not get it out of the frame anymore.
You can chose to use a slip (Gold or Silver thin moulding which goes between the mount and the painting)
If you are displaying your photo for the exhibition or giving to someone, We can just put the mount board assemble.
Mount boards can be one layer or multiple layer depending on the taste and look of the frame.
Canvas can be stretched and hang as boxed canvas style. In this case your painting has to have at least 4" of space on the edge to wrap around the stretching moulding.
Stretched Canvas, then can be mounted with the moulding without any glass or mount board to hang on the wall. Oil painting needs to breath and usually we frame without glass. But if the painting has to be in the area prone to smoke, dampness, or dust, you may choose to put the glass. In this case we recommend that we use a spacer which gives a little space between the canvas surface and the glass.
Our football shirt frame is well known for the good quality. Your shirt will be stretched nice and flat with inserted mount board. Then sewn by hand to the back mount board. Then put in to the deep boxed frame and topped by the good quality glass. If you like you can add other memorabilia, like programme, ticket, badge, cap, etc., in the frame.
Your needle work can be framed beautifully with or without the mount board in your choice of mouldings. Your work will be carefully stretched over the board, making as straight as possible.
Any other odd shaped item can be framed with deeper boxed style frame. We have framed, baby shoes, Golf ball, Teddy bear, Weaver's shuttle, Hard Rock Cafe's badge collection, and even half dried Starfish!!

Think about how you want to frame your item and measure the part you want to show in the frame and tell the staff the the measurement is the 'inside the mount size' Things you need to consider is the moulding size in width, if you want mount board or not, how much mount board you want show, do you need glass or not. But don't worry we will help you make decision. The best way is to bring your item and come to our shop so you can actually see the moulding and mount board colours. The colour is the most difficult thing to describe on the Phone. The combination of the moulding and mount board is best chosen with the painting to see how the different colour changes the whole ambience.
